Firestorm Global is a team of senior practitioners. Managing Principal Tim Femister leads the firm, and we bring in additional technical depth where the work calls for it, so every engagement gets people who have done this before.

Tim is an experienced industry executive with deep domain expertise in information security, built over a career that includes leading a private equity-backed technology services firm as CEO and serving as a corporate executive for a multi-billion-dollar IT solutions provider. His specialization is public education and the public sector, where cyber risk meets tight budgets, public accountability, and communities that depend on the institutions we serve.
He has been featured in Forbes through the Forbes Technology Council and on NBC, and he presents regularly at industry conferences on cyber risk and emerging technology. A Southern California native, Tim focuses on helping public institutions build secure digital environments for the people and communities they serve.
